We're seeking a future team member for the role of Manager - Fund Administration to join our Luxembourg Fund Accounting Oversight team. This role is located in 2-4 rue Eugene Ruppert, Luxembourg.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Monitoring and maintaining governance in accordance with CSSF Circulars (outsourcing, Central Administration, gap analysis,...)
- Ensuring various controls / governance on outsourced locations (Oversight calls, DD,...)
- Support Business Management in various tasks (KPIs / KRIs / MIS / various Senior Reports, various pack preparation,...)
- Manage different projects into the Team
- Manage the on-boarding of new business into the Team.
- Communicate effectively and manage relationships with clients and other external parties including clients, auditors, regulators
- Ensure the provision of accurate and timely services to all internal and external parties. Monitor daily processes ensuring appropriate levels of review and control.
- Responsibility for implementing and maintaining a robust control environment for the function while managing risk.
- Ensure each team member understands and follows the relevant processes, controls, procedures and systems operating within their area.
- Encourage and motivate staff to be pro-active in reporting and addressing operational issues. Ensure team members are aware of issues and they escalate where appropriate.
- Resolves complex escalated issues
- Manage deliverables and operations across multiple clients, time-zones and different fund accounting operational processes.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Third level qualification in business related discipline. Accounting Qualifications preferred.
- At least 15 years work experience within a similar environment.
- High knowledge of outsourcing process and regulations.
- Problem Solving skills.
- Strong governance understanding and attention to detail.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Good Communication skills - both written & verbal.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven Organization & Time Management skills and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a pressurized environment.
- Conscientious in approach and able to work proactively/
- Experience in managing staff.
- Project skills.
