Mental health in the UK is rising higher on the agenda and the acknowledgement of its significance on the population is even more important as we wait to see the impact the pandemic has had on mental health worldwide. This September, Vercida looks at mental health awareness in the workplace reviewing how businesses tackle this sensitive issue and how we can individually help ourselves.

Mental Health Month

In advance of Mental Health Awareness Day in October, Vercida is reflecting on the crucial role businesses can play in supporting and helping their employees when it comes to mental health. Making disclosure an accepted practice in the workplace is a way forward, removing the stigma that can lead to discrimination. Companies need to take mental health very seriously and provide support in the workplace for employees who suffer from this condition.
