Corporate Social Responsibility
Siemens plc has a long tradition of working with the community to ensure more social inclusion and help ensure equality of opportunity. We want to maximise the positive impact our business can have in the UK. To do this we work on projects that help neighbouring communities through donations of time, skills, cash and equipment.
All sites and businesses are encouraged to work on and volunteer for projects close to their sites, encourage and support staff involvement and participate in national programmes such as those led by our charity partners.
Siemens employees are entitled to 2 days of paid volunteering to support a charitable cause. We have 4 key national volunteering partners Greenpower, STEM Learning, Teach First and the Wildlife Trust, and each business supports its own local causes. So there are plenty of choices available.
