Religious & Spiritual Beliefs at Multiverse Computing

At Multiverse Computing, we structure our holiday leave through a flexible arrangement known internally as our "Permiso de festivos a la carta" (or floating holiday policy). Rather than enforcing strict attendance or closure around traditional Spanish or local calendars, we intentionally designed this policy to respect the diverse religious, spiritual, and cultural backgrounds of our global workforce.

Key aspects of our policy include:

  • Floating Holiday Exchange: We allow our employees to exchange traditional, local public holidays (such as regional or Catholic feast days) for alternative dates that align with their personal faith, spiritual practices, or cultural celebrations.

  • Secular and International Equity: Because we are deeply international and multicultural, this policy treats all beliefs completely equally. It allows our workers to celebrate events like Eid, Yom Kippur, Diwali, or secular milestones without having to sacrifice their standard annual leave.

  • Inclusion Framework: This practice is a direct operational extension of our Ethics Committee mandates. It allows us to translate our high-level commitments to workplace diversity and integration directly into day-to-day employee benefits.
