We want to play our part to address the impacts the food system has on climate and nature. With the vast majority of environmental impacts occurring in our wider value chain, our focus is on partnering with our suppliers and farmers to ensure we provide our customers with healthy, sustainable, affordable food.
Good governance is the foundation of our sustainability framework and essential to fulfilling Tesco’s purpose.
It ensures that the way we serve our customers, communities, and the planet is rooted in strong ethical values. We have a comprehensive sustainability governance framework encompassing the Board, its associated committees and the Executive Committee.
