The DWP Social Mobility Network are delighted to announce that Emily Haykings Griffin is a finalist in the Rising Star category, and Leaders Like You are finalists for the Progression Programme category in the seventh annual UK Social Mobility Awards.
Emily is an inspirational leader, spreading positivity and motivating others to drive real change in the promotion of upward social mobility and achievement of potential. Emily works tirelessly as a Social Mobility Network Lead, in addition to her main role in Faith and Belief, takes a forward-thinking approach to achieve tangible outcomes, including planning and delivery of this year’s first ever departmental Social Mobility Week “We Can, Together”.
The Leaders Like You talent programme aims to accelerate the progression of colleagues from diverse background into senior leadership roles and is seeing positive outcomes for those on the scheme in its first cycle.
The UK Social Mobility Awards recognise and celebrate UK organisations that are making strides and creating initiatives to advance social mobility within their own workforce or beyond it. Winners will be announced on Thursday 12 October 2023.
