Offering a more sustainable meal option is fundamental to our mission to become the UK’s most-loved way to eat dinner. 

The business was founded upon the vision to reduce food waste. By sending customers fresh, precisely measured ingredients, we make it easy for households to cook with 0% food waste. AI forecasting allows us to keep food waste to an absolute minimum in our fulfilment centres. It does this by predicting how many orders we'll have each week, so we don't over-order from our suppliers.

We’re also making significant strides in reducing our plastic packaging. Driven by a hugely innovative team, we cut plastic in our boxes by 50% in 2020 and by 2022 all Gousto branded packaging will be reusable, recyclable or compostable.
