Der Medical Lead Oncology New Indications (m/w/d) ist verantwortlich für die Entwicklung und Umsetzung der medizinischen Strategie für neue onkologische Indikationen (Phase 1-3 der klinischen Entwicklung, vor Zulassung; Schwerpunkte: Lungenkarzinom, kolorektales Karzinom, HNO-Tumore und Glioblastom) in enger Zusammenarbeit mit globalen und lokalen Stakeholdern sämtlicher relevanter Funktionen (u.a. Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access) aus dem jeweiligen Therapiegebiet bzw. den Indikationen. Diese erfolgt unter Berücksichtigung zu identifizierender wissenschaftlicher Datenlücken als auch ungedeckter Bedürfnisse von Patienten und Lücken in der Versorgungsrealität sowie deren Adressierung durch effektive, nachhaltige und messbare medizinische Aktivitäten. Ein Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt besteht in der Zusammenarbeit mit Clinical Development und Clinical Operations, um eine aus deutscher Perspektive adäquate globale Entwicklungsstrategie sowie eine erfolgreiche lokale Exekution der klinischen Studienprogramme zu gewährleisten.

Hauptaufgaben:

• Verantwortlich für die Erstellung und Umsetzung der medizinischen Strategie und alle medizinischen Aktivitäten für die Arzneimittel und Indikationen auf lokaler Ebene
• Disziplinarische Leitung des Innendienst-Medical-Teams für Oncology New Indications (Medical Affairs Manager)
• Umfassende Partnerschaft und Zusammenarbeit mit regionalen und globalen Teams; der Medical Lead ist Mitglied des Global Medical Teams (GMATs) für dieses Produkt und gestaltet als solches maßgeblich die globale Produktstrategie mit. Zudem repräsentiert der Medical Lead die LOC-Perspektive in anderen wichtigen regionalen und globalen Foren (u.a. Integrated Evidence Teams)
• Intensive Zusammenarbeit mit Global Clinical Development sowie regionalen und lokalen Clinical Operation-Team
• Sicherstellung der Berücksichtigung deutscher Marktgegebenheiten innerhalb der globalen Produktstrategie und -entwicklung
• Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern im gesamten internen Ökosystem für die Erstellung von Launch, Medical- und Brand-Plänen auf nationaler Ebene
• Nutzen von internen und externen Erfahrungen als Input für das Design klinischer Studien und Weiterentwicklungen des Produktes
• Vertretung des medizinischen Fachbereichs in lokalen, funktionsübergreifenden Strategiesitzungen und Workshops und proaktive Entwicklung von Optionen für innovative medizinische Strategien

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten:

• Hochschulabschluss in Medizin, Pharmazie oder Naturwissenschaften, bevorzugt mit Promotion
• 4+ Jahre Erfahrung in der Pharmazeutischen Industrie im Bereich Medical Affairs der Onkologie mit entsprechender Führungserfahrung / Führungskompetenz
• Erfahrung im Bereich Clinical Development und Clinical Operations
• Verständnis des deutschen Gesundheitswesens sowie der Erstattung von Arzneimitteln / Impfstoffen; Erfahrung mit Market Access Prozessen, z.B. AMNOG
• Verständnis für pharmazeutische Ethik und Governance, pharmazeutische Compliance-Richtlinien und -Verfahren
• Erfahrung mit Produktlebenszyklen sowie Produkteinführungen mit anschließender Ableitung von gezielten Portfoliostrategien
• Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten
• Nachgewiesene Kompetenz im Projekt- und Budgetmanagement
• Sehr gute verbale und schriftliche Sprachkenntnisse Deutsch und Englisch (fließend; mindestens C1-Level)
