Physical and Mental Health at Haymarket

The Body & Mind network aims to promote the physical and mental well-being of everyone through support, guidance and inspiration. The group focuses on health, fitness, physical disability and mental health and is guided by four pillars of recruit, support, educate and celebrate.

Haymarket is on a journey to becoming a Disability Confident employer. At present, we have achieved level 1 status, demonstrating we are Disability Committed and we are striving towards level 2. 

We are continually reviewing our working environment and practices to be inclusive of those living with disabilities and health conditions.  We have a fully accessible office and our Twickenham head office features a calm zone.

Support for employees includes an Employee Assistance Programme, Mental Health First Aiders, access to a Wellbeing app and dedicated wellbeing support within our learning and development programme. Mental Health First Aiders are available to listen, reassure, and respond, even in a crisis – and can potentially avert a crisis from happening. They can do this by recognising warning signs, and they have the skills and confidence to approach and support someone experiencing mental ill-health.
