Cable Harness Route Engineer

Job description

In collaboration with colleagues abroad, we are developing modern rail vehicles. We address both overall design and the design of individual systems. We create innovative products in the field of urban and railway transportation vehicles. We can manage global projects independently, overseeing the entire project from requirement definition, SW/HW and mechanics development, addressing cross-cutting issues, all at the level of the entire vehicle.

If you are interested in cable harness design in vehicles, such as new subway trains for the London Underground, regional trains with hybrid and conventional propulsion, or high-speed trains for the European and non-European markets, then we are looking for you!

Main responsibilities:

• Defining cable routes on high-speed vehicles in accordance with applicable standards and creating specifications for mechanical construction
• Monitoring compliance with cable routes (channels / tubes / penetrations)
• Addressing technical details in collaboration with other departments
• Preparation of customer, manufacturing, and assembly documentation
• Ensuring implementation within the desired timeframe, quality, and costs
• Collaboration in regular project reviews

Requirements:

• Secondary or Higher education in electrical engineering
• Communicative English or German
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling is an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Responsible approach
