About us

Groundwork is a National Charity that works with communities across the UK supporting them to create greener and more sustainable ways to live resulting in better living and working environments which in turn lead to an improvement in economic prospects.

The ACE Project

This programme will allow you to take on a new member of staff with a wage subsidy up to the Level of the National Minimum Wage for an average of 20 weeks. ACE candidates are 25 and over from the local community and have had some time out of work due to a disability or long term health condition. Our candidates are resilient and enthusiastic about re-entering the workforce, are supported by an ACE adviser throughout the process including with in-work support. Our aim is to match and prepare each participant with the appropriate vacancy.

Our team's primary focus is linking local people to local jobs who traditionally would have neither the access nor confidence to approach large organisations like yourselves for employment.

We have a diverse portfolio of candidates, with varied levels of education/experience and we are committed to supporting both sides through the recruitment and induction processes. Initially targeting small businesses, we are opening up this opportunity to organisations of all types and sizes.
