Workforce Capability and Insight Manager; Decision Analytics - Experian
To design, build and oversee execution of a global 'Delivery and Support' workforce capability development strategy, programme and, aligned to the known and planned business objectives and strategic options available to the organisation as it grows and evolves.
To use workforce and productivity metrics and analytics to ensure that the programme is 'demand-led' while balancing the development needs of the current dispersed global population
To be accountable for alignment of the strategy and programme with existing regional learning and development programmes, and to complement and/ or influence the optimal use of available learning and development resources to maximise its impacts in a measurable way
To use of or influence in the adoption of (can develop business and investment cases) innovative learning strategies utilising multiple delivery methods and processes to meet specific objectives defined by DA Senior Management team (GBL).
To ensure strategy is accepted, supported and actively promoted and executed in a measurable way by DA Central and Regional Management teams
Key Results Areas:
Workforce Capability Development Strategy and Programme: • To understand key business drivers and priorities of capability needs - over the planning horizon of the business strategic plans • To consult with stakeholders to assess learning and development needs, which represent the need of the business. To include product, generic technical and behavioural areas • To create design, deliver and evaluate innovative workforce capability learning and development strategy; with the aim of improving skills and impact on business and client needs, and enabling career progression to meet individual personal and professional aspirations • To work collaboratively with appropriate stakeholders to agree strategy and create rounded learning materials
Monitor, analyse and improve learning and development resources and materials: • To contribute to a continuous improvement strategy, by ensuring robust evaluation of learning effectiveness at all levels exists and is in use • To develop and maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders, including HR and Sales/ Pre-sales L&D teams • To collaborate with central and external suppliers to ensure that the design of new and improvements to existing training courses and accompanying materials, recommending the most appropriate delivery method
Coordination and stakeholder management regional teams as appropriate • To update regional management and learning teams on the best practice use of learning systems and materials • To work with and across global teams (Central Delivery and Support Experts, Product Management, HR L&D and Sales/ Pre-sales L&D and Global Software Group - GSG) to make sure communications and engagement on learning strategy and programmes is aligned • To monitor progress and feedback with regional management teams Skills and experience sought:
Degree level, however knowledge and experience of workforce analytics, capability and learning programme development strategies, interventions and creation in a business environment are important.
Consulting background is enormously beneficial given the likely project/ programme nature of the role and the high levels of stakeholder management, influence and effective communications impacts required
Proven experience of design, creation and implementation of capability development strategies including demand-led learning strategy including format, methodology, roll out and effectiveness measurement with dispersed global teams (ideally of a technical AND non-technical nature)
Skills needed to perform job: • Workforce or other operational insight (data analytics) experience in a large corporate environment • Learning & Development experience - particularly on the strategy, design and measurement of effectiveness of interventions • Workforce capability and skills development strategy development and programme design • Highly articulate individual with excellent written communications, presentation, facilitation and training delivery skills • Strong stakeholder management, (written and verbal) communications and influencing experience • Experience and skills using Learning Management Systems • Experience of learning design and delivery • Strong organisational skills and proven ability to multi-task and prioritise
