You will be enthusiastic and passionate about ensuring that processes, systems and resources are continuously improved and committed to delivering an exceptional volunteering journey. You'll ideally have a relevant volunteer management and/or customer service qualification or a significant amount of experience in a similar role within a large and complex charity. Your proven experience of leading and supporting a team will be complimented by an in-depth understanding of volunteering good practice and the ability to keep sight of multiple strands of work with different deadlines.
You will be experienced at planning and organising projects as well as an excellent communicator, able to convey information clearly and consistently in writing and verbally. Confident at using and maintaining a large database, you will be capable of producing reports and statistical data for analysis. A self-motivator, willing to go the extra mile, you'll be capable of building strong relationships with both colleagues within the Volunteering Support team, and the other departments within Alzheimer's Society.
