Technical Support Technician

An opportunity has arisen within our London office for a Technical Support Technician to join the team and provide support across both Caerus and Intrinsic.

Providing onsite support to the staff in our London office you will ensure all requests are completed within the agreed timescales, and will be responsible for development and maintenance of desktop infrastructure.

About the role
You'll provide 2nd line technical support to all end users within our Caerus and Intrinsic infrastructure both over the phone and in person. You'll also have an input in system upgrades and may be tasked with researching and making recommendations on new systems we should be considering.

You'll work with the problem management team to undertake diagnosis and resolution of problems, and maintain the Known Error Database. You'll also work with the access management team to modify user accounts and settings to grant/withdraw access rights in line with our security policies.

Alongside this we'll value your contribution to the change, release and deployment management processes, as well as validation, testing and acceptance into service.
About you
You'll have excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks with a clear focus on delivery. You'll thrive in a dynamic, busy environment and enjoy prioritising and accommodating deadlines. You'll be an excellent communicator with proven experience of delivering infrastructure design and support.

On a technical level, you'll ideally be ITIL qualified and have a solid understanding of key technologies including Microsoft end-user and server products, VMWare and Citrix.
