PwC is looking for an experienced candidate to join the Sales and Marketing team at manager level. The role will support Sales and Marketing teams with their supplier needs, manage supplier contracts, SLAs, and supplier budgets, as well as provide continual operational support to marketing leadership.
The individual will support all PwC marketing category owners, as well as the Marketing Centre of Excellence with their supplier and agency needs. This will include but not limited to
Ensuring PwC Sales and Marketing is working with suitable suppliers and agencies that are fit for purpose
Working with PwC Compliance, Legal, Procurement and IT Security teams to ensure contracts with suitable service levels are in place with all suppliers and agencies;
Supplier/ agency relationship management (ensuring suppliers/ agencies are delivering high quality services/ deliverables at competitive prices)
Working alongside PwC Procurement on tenders for new sales and marketing suppliers
Training Sales and Marketing staff (who are not necessarily experienced in managing agency or supplier relationships) on how to brief an agency/ draft a Statement of Work
Arranging and attending regular review meetings with all Sales and Marketing suppliers and collating MI reporting.
Previous experience of operations, contract and budget management is required along with the following key skills
The ability to manage a wide range of contracts and supplier relationships for marketing from large advertising agencies, sponsorships, to niche digital marketing agencies to individual writers/editors.
The post-holder will need to interact with Sales and Marketing staff on a daily basis and at a range of grades therefore the role requires someone who is not afraid to challenge those more senior than them regarding use of suppliers. Conversations will cover a variety of queries; for example to outline the contract onboarding process or to communicate budget spend.
Review performance and ensure delivery of key targets in line with management and performance reporting. Demonstrate commercial value to your line manager and Leadership teams, in line with the Sales and Marketing vision, values and overall business strategy.
It is essential that the candidate is detailed oriented and methodical in their approach, and experience of the analysis of data is preferred. There will be a requirement to support on the ROI across marketing to ensure efficiency
The role will report to the Risk and Operations lead for Sales and Marketing and sits within the Special Operations team (SOPS) of the Delivery Hub.

In this role, the successful candidate
Develops and implements new best practice marketing supplier guidelines across UK Sales and Marketing considering the importance of diversity and inclusion and sustainability when running tenders/ deciding types of agencies/ suppliers we work with
Trains and supports Sales and Marketing staff on how to work with suppliers and agencies i.e how to brief them, draft statements of work, give constructive feedback, negotiate - focus on commercial acumen
Manages the Engagement Hub Google site content
Develops a system for tracking and where relevant promoting new marketing suppliers across UK Sales and Marketing
Work closely with the marketing resourcing manager to ensure workflow process are in place and adhered to whilst the Marketing CoE is being established
Provides supplier and contract support across
Clearly define supply chains and procedures with the aim to be both practical and sensitive to marketing needs
Adheres to a structured Compliance and Procurement process that functions in line with internal policies and procedures
Onboards and renewal of UK and Global contracts
Requesting and analysing supplier MI reporting
Identifies new offerings where applicable
Works with a range of staff at all grades
Works effectively with other parts of Sales and Marketing to support business strategy and revenue growth
Brings curiosity and challenge so that information product offerings are continuously evaluated and improved

Extensive experience in contract and supplier relationship management.
Experience of managing marketing agencies and suppliers
Experience of working with Procurement and contract management
Able to balance and prioritise multiple requests from staff at all levels, alongside own administrative and team responsibilities.
Can demonstrate that they have effectively shared knowledge across teams and territories.
Experience of contract management and attention to detail
Experience of budget management
Experience of working in a customer or service focused role
