Job description

Amazon is seeking an intuitive, high-judgment, and self-motivated professional to join our Transportation Operations Management (TOM) team. This individual will cover different projects related to training, engagement and development including some learning tech/innovation tools. The position will provide support for TOM associates,managers and leadership through partnership on a wide range of complex topics.

As a Program Manager, you will lead and own different projects and initiatives collaborating strongly with Training, Engagement and Development team. The ideal candidate will insist on the highest standards, dive deep into details, have a strong bias for action and sense of ownership, distill information to find common threads between projects, and be energized by juggling priorities. Ability to be a good networker and collaborator with different partners will be the key. You will operate in fast-moving situations, embrace ambiguity and changing tides, be able to quickly get up to speed on complex issues and connect different content into one story. Also key is the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to learn Amazon systems, identify the impact, and effectively communicate to various levels of management internal and external to Amazon.

Core Job Responsibilities
• Own the program management activities for the EU TOM
• Drive and rollout of different projects E2E
• Independently own the designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining the large scale projects.
• Set and clarify the business requirements and targets with different stakeholders
• Establish and maintain the projects metrics to monitor the progress and RoI
• Drive the new initiatives to improve the training, learning tech experience exceeding the business requirements
• Document the standard operations processes and take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments and among the network
• Work closely with the different teams to build trust and accountability
• Requires some travel mainly within Europe
• Raise the bar on the team through passion for innovation in training and learning culture of TOM
• Roll up sleeves and get work done, even when at times it's outside the scope of the job;

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors' or Master's Degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience
• Significant work experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in logistics, supply chain, transportation or manufacturing industry
• Strong experience of data mining, business analytics and data-driven decision making skills
• Prior experience with performance metrics, process improvement and lean techniques
• High ability to deal with ambiguity and handle changing priorities, to effectively prioritize, to multitask, and to use good judgment in pressure situations
• Ability to develop creative and scalable solutions independently, and drive them from ideation to successful completion; results oriented; "self-starter"
• Flexible to work a variety of hours as per the business demands
• Fluent in English
