Job description

You and the role:

Siemens is seeking an enthusiastic engineer to join the teamresponsible for developing Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) softwareproducts.

Part of the Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM)portfolio of software, our APS products are world renowned, used across a widevariety of industry segments and are a leader in the field.

Successful applicants will have a degree in a relevantsubject and a keen interest in solving problems that industry leaders face day today in keeping efficient, competitive and relevant in an ever more challenging global economy.

As part of an agile team, you will work with industrystandard tools and technologies to deliver the next generation of world classAPS solutions for the cloud, leveraging existing techniques to solve planningand scheduling problems, but also contributing to the research effort foradoption of emerging technologies.

Required:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, SoftwareEngineering


  • Open, communicative and articulate - works well in a teamenvironment


  • Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines,roles, and geographical and time zone boundaries


Desirable:

  • Experience developing software solutions in one or many ofthe following languages; C++, C#, JavaScript


  • Manufacturing Operations or other relevant discipline (orequivalent experience desirable)


  • Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming paradigms
