This role is required to drive growth for the Service arm of the SmartInfrastructure Distribution Systems business. Focused on developingpropositions and selling services covering (but not limited to) low voltageswitchgear, medium voltage switchgear and distribution transformers.
In addition to driving your own pipeline of opportunities, you willalign and work with a wider Smart Infrastructure sales team in selling definedservice portfolio by identifying and developing customer opportunitiestogether. Sales:
Drives service sales (proactively / reactively) by identifying anddeveloping customer opportunities based on data analysis and target customers.Defines the service part of the customer strategy. Visits customers to support,consult and drive deals to closure. Maintains responsibility for developing aservice-related opportunity pipe-line fully utilising Salesforce CRM tool. Service Sales & Business Planning:
Actively supports service salesplanning on account and opportunity level for defined service portfolio indefined region / customer base. Supports the business planning and forecastingprocesses. Sales Support:
Coordinates technical development of offers, with internal salessupport team. Fully understands and negotiates offers with customer. Validatespricing and examines ability to deliver. Accompanies projects during theirexecution phase to generate follow-up sales and service opportunities. Marketing:
Supports in information collection on customers, market andcompetitors of his respective Service portfolio in region / accounts. Providesinput for marketing (e.g. references) and represents service portfolio inmarketing activities. Knowledge Exchange:
Drives regular knowledge exchange on strategy and portfolio withwider SI business and sales team, also works in networks across regions. What you need to make real what matters.

- Demonstrable track record of developing sales plans, maintaining customer relationships and achieving targets
- Ability to be a role model and a coach to our sales support (tendering function) to create an environment that encourages our service business to act in a more entrepreneurial and creative manner
