We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to lead and manage the operational delivery of our ICT services.

The role

As the Service Delivery Manager you will lead and manage teams and suppliers to deliver a high standard of service resulting in a high quality end user experience.

Developing and reviewing service level agreements as well as monitoring performance, will be important as will reporting risk and business impact to senior management to help support decision making.

As an experienced ITIL Service Delivery Management professional you will develop and maintain service procedures to support management, ensuring compliance with ITIL principles, aligning them to business needs and organisational direction.

Using your strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, you will be confident building collaborative working relationships, engaging at all levels and be competent in reasoning and influencing others, especially in senior management.

You will work with a range of stakeholders, project managers and employees to understand the current service delivery and make sure that the function works effectively and meets targets.

As an advocate for continuous service improvement, you will make recommendations for change to improve the customer experience.

As a member of the change advisory board, you will approve changes, considering impact and risk, working closely with the change and release function.

  • Substantial experience in a Service Operations related environment
  • Experience of developing IT processes and procedures
  • ITIL Intermediate qualification
  • Effective supplier relationship management skills
  • Ability to effectively engage with and influence senior management
  • Experience of transitioning new services

We have moved to a hybrid working model and there will be a blend of home working and an office presence of one or two days a week, in our offices in Birmingham.
