We are looking for an energetic and talented Senior Trade Compliance Program Manager (M/F) to support and lead trade compliance matters at Amazon EMEA. Successful candidates will effectively establish Amazon's culture on Trade Compliance processes to support the development and growth of our businesses.

In order to be successful, the candidate needs to be comfortable interfacing with functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: • Drive scalable business solutions to ensure compliance with import regulations in the region; • Provide support for country and regional projects focused on Trade Compliance development; • Process implementation work within the team, businesses and Corporate Legal to enforce Amazon policies; • Educate internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance on our projects and processes • Collaborate with Legal and Tax departments on efforts as necessary; • Interface with customs regulators as required; • Collaborate with Amazon's technology teams to develop best Trade Compliance solutions for our business. Ability to scale. • Leverage data to continuously improve compliance at Amazon
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University; • Proven experience connected to audit processes within large organizations • Proven experience with Project Management; • Proven experience for working with large data sets • Ability to propose and implement innovative solutions • Fluency in English • Proven experience in connection to Compliance area; • Strong analytical and computer skills; • Strong written and oral communication skills; • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to develop • Ability to obtain approval to work in Luxembourg; • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations; • Ability to turn complex compliance requirements into scalable solutions; • Common sense, great judgment and a good sense of humor.
• Fluency in German or French is a plus; • Prior experience working with Customs or Trade related matters (import or export) • Prior experience with retail, e-commerce or electronics industry; • Experience working with IT professionals and process improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing; • Ability to monitor and measure results with analytical thinking and program management mindset; • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
