We work with the latest technologies and approaches for connecting distributed users to the tools and digital content they need. Our initial focus has been authentication and authorisation, but we have an exciting roadmap leading up to a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model for opening up the BBC's software.
The team is responsible for supporting our deployed code and infrastructure and we have a strong focus on security. As a senior member of the team you'll need to have knowledge and experience of the trade-offs this requires. The team uses agile approaches to deliver quality software and to maintain a collaborative working environment. We work with a variety of front-end and back-end technologies and work with major cloud providers in developing areas of mutual interest.
We want people to really enjoy coming in to work and get a buzz from knowing that what they are doing is making a difference and enhancing people's lives. You'll find a culture that is supportive, collaborative, sociable and inclusive with continuous opportunities for growth and development.
