We are looking for qualified and experienced Psychological Therapists who are trained in DIT.
The therapists will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with people with mental health problems. Commitment to clinical excellence is vital, and we welcome candidates that can work confidently, flexibly and autonomously.
As part of your role, you will receive regular clinical supervision and line management, as well as contribute to service delivery and clinical projects. We encourage all our staff to develop, and lead on special interests, and we are particularly interested in applicants with specific interests or experience in the following areas: older adults, long-term conditions/physical health needs, BME community, perinatal etc
You will join a professional, supportive and friendly team comprising Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, CBT therapists, DIT therapists and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners. Alongside high and low intensity CBT interventions, the service also provides groups, as well relational therapies such as DIT and IPT, and Behavioural Couples Therapy. We also work alongside our Primary Care Mental Health Team which includes Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists and Mental Health Nurses.
The service is based in Surbiton, a short walk from Surbiton station and within easy reach of the A3.
The post pays Outer London Weighting Allowance and offers access to high level CPD from Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust.
