JOB PURPOSE/ROLE Our global Portfolio Analytics team is seeking an experienced candidate for a newly created Senior Portfolio Manager role. In this role you will work closely with the Head of Portfolio Analytics in developing a global portfolio management framework to support board decisions and foster portfolio management approaches across AGCS.
The Portfolio Analytics team is part of CUO Portfolio Management at AGCS and is responsible for global, cross LoB topics and for driving the use of analytics within portfolio management. CUO Portfolio Management is a recently created business function who partner with the LoBs through the provision of in-depth profitability understanding. As well as fostering collaboration and best practice sharing across all the AGCS lines, Portfolio Management provide a cross LoB perspective to the Board to support strategic decision making. The team is spread across London, Munich, Bucharest, Chicago and New York.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Required experience/education: •Qualified P&C Actuary or candidates with a quantitative background in strategy / consultancy. •In depth knowledge of P&C insurance spanning multiple types and lines of business. •Proven track-record of delivering strategic insights and recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis, preferably in an underwriting setting. •Prior involvement in wider corporate topics and in high-level strategic issues.
Technical skills: •Experienced in the development of strong end to end solutions, all the way through from problem definition to full analysis to development of actionable recommendations. •Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret data and analytical results, and to then communicate this to audiences with differing levels of technical understanding. •Strong data visualization skills, with the ability to build a compelling story from the data with clear insights and recommended actions.
Personal skills: •Collaborative approach to working relationships with proven ability in building broad consensus and momentum for cross function projects. •Experienced in communication of results to a variety of stakeholders incl. senior management. •Strong results orientation with a track-record of managing projects for on-time delivery. •Experience in an international working environment. Experience of working with colleagues located in different countries an advantage.
