Role: Senior Payroll Administrator

Location: Home / London - Our HQ is in London however we can accommodate both home / remote working

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team here at Gousto! Supporting the Payroll Manager, you will be joining at an exciting time as our Payroll function grows as our workforce expands (2,000 by the end of this year!) with both weekly and monthly payrolls.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Processing weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish, including statutory payments and RTI submissions
  • Administering all elements of Gousto's pension scheme, ranging from employee changes to information flows with the company's pension provider
  • Processing statutory and HMRC filing obligations (e.g. Gender Pay Gap reporting, RTI submissions)
  • Assisting in year-end payroll information such as P60s and P11ds
  • Processing National Minimum Wage and Real Living Wage compliance checks
  • Assisting with queries in relation to payslip, taxation, national insurance and pension queries
  • Reconciliation and posting of the payroll to Dynamics and creation of third party payments
  • Helping in the processing and testing of of a new payroll system
  • Preparing payroll reports
  • Administering employee benefits, including Cycle to Work and Child Care Vouchers
  • Working with the Payroll Manager to implement 'best in class' practices and controls
  • Deputising for the Payroll Manager


Requirements

Who you are:
  • Good experience within a similar role in a Finance or Payroll team
  • Qualified Payroll professional or looking to become qualified
  • Team Player - It's a busy department and function so working together collaboratively to get the job done is paramount;
  • Accurate - High attention to detail whilst working to tight deadlines
  • Great communicator - Providing payroll related advice and guidance to employees and departments;
  • Customer focused - Providing a great level of customer service to employees, delivering high quality services on time;
  • Adaptable - You thrive on being in a fast-paced environment and are able to adapt to changing priorities;
  • Proactive - Challenging the norm and improve processes and tasks;
  • Honesty & discretion - You will be dealing with sensitive & confidential data
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills essential: Excel and/or G-Suite (sheets, docs, slides)
