We are looking to hire a Senior HR Business Partner to join our People Team on an 6 month fixed-term contract. The role holder will work with the HR Director (Corporate) to develop and implement the annual People Plan for the business area - delivering both the Corporate People Plan and the Business plan at a local level.
Reporting to the HR Director (Corporate), the main duties and responsibilities include:
Developing, driving and implementing the people plan for the assigned business unit, including; capability, employee engagement and talent initiatives, in order to support business performance.
Partnering Director/s and, where required, executive grade stakeholders in leading and driving organisational change programmes
Developing and maintaining trusting and effective partnerships with senior line managers, challenging their thinking and working closely with them to co-develop solutions to meet their current and future business needs
Collaborating with and influencing the HR Shared Service teams and the specialist HR Centres of Excellence to deliver the business unit people plan and to develop efficient and cost effective solutions to local challenges
Leading, monitoring and driving forward business wide talent and succession planning
Working in partnership with the business unit, analysing trends and key metrics to understand the key performance issues, objectives and drivers, subsequently proactively driving the HR agenda.
Coaching senior managers to support them in driving performance through the development of themselves and their teams
Evaluating and improving the impact of all strategic and local initiatives with the business, identifying and considering the need for change and facilitating the formulation of any appropriate change plans
You will have:
Excellent technical HR knowledge through generalist and HRBP experience
Demonstrable relationship management experience at all levels, including business partnering at Director level within a comparable organisation
Change management experience
Experience of development and implementation of people plans in a fast paced environment
Sound understanding of UK/EU employment law
Ability to consult, influence, and partner with senior leaders in developing and executing people strategies
Ability to consult on the application of HR policy and processes
CIPD qualification - desirable
