Come and joinour team as a Senior Design Engineer. You will be involved in the design process from conception of a newproduct, working on the first version of a new design. This role will suit you if you enjoy beingcreative, innovative and working on an overall system concept.

You will beable to use CAD/CAE systems, combined with a working knowledge of the productto enable both the improvement of existing products, and the design of newones.

Your mission and responsibilities:

Product conceptdesign and realisation

Generation ofinnovative design solutions to ensure competitive product performance

Creation ofmanufacturing information to agreed standards.

Creation ofmodels suitable for f.e. analysis and potentially conducting analysis

Creating andmaintaining BOM structures and product configuration

Evaluation ofmanufacturing technical issues to enable reliable product performance to beachieved.

Define, reviewand ensure compliance of, internal and external technical standards includingdesign standards and purchasing specifications.

Your qualifications and experience:

You will bedegree qualified, or demonstrate equivalent experience.

Experience withSiemens NX and Teamcenter is preferred, but training to convert from othersystems will be provided, where required.

You will have aproven track record of innovative design

Your personality and skills:

You must beable to work both independently on assigned problems, and also as a member of aproduct development team.

Preferredskills include;

Experience ofFinite element analysis

Understandingof design for manufacture

BOM managementand configuration control
