As a Senior Construction Manager for Curzon Street Station and Interchange Stations, you will supervise major construction contracts to ensure the works for the new stations are delivered to standard and performance required.
About the role:
To take responsibility and give direction for all activities in the field of construction, assurance overseeing and monitoring the work of design consultants, contractors and onsite staff.
Responsible for the overseeing the development of construction/engineering solutions in response to client and third party requirements and ensuring the delivery of the projects within agreed timeframes and budgetary parameters.
Working with the Contractor and others to ensure that the project is delivered in a safe, timely, efficient and sustainable manner, whilst achieving project targets, meeting client expectations and enhancing the reputation of the business.
Provide assurance to HS2 Ltd. and third parties that contractors are executing the works in a safe and efficient manner, and in accordance with method statements and in compliance with CDM Regulations 2015;
Contribute to pre-planning, development of project safety strategy and logistics.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, Experience
Experience of supervising complex construction projects of a value in excess of c£100m from design, pre-construction through to delivery, entry into operational service and handover to maintenance;
Experience of working with large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects; including the construction of complex roof structures;
Extensive knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, including CDM 2015 regulations;
Proven ability to engage with, influence, and manage local external stakeholders on contentious projects;
Sound understanding of project management principles and application of excellent organisation skills and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines;
Understanding of NEC3 contracts;
Experience of leading and managing teams
