The role is working withinthe Siemens Small Gas Turbine (SGT) Modernization & Upgrades Sales team.Responsible for delivering the Sales Order intake for the Modernization &Upgrades Controls & Digitalisation product line. The individual will alsobe responsible for the global selling of the solution both technically andcommercially via the Siemens Regional Entities (RE's) and direct to our EndUser Customers.
They must work within the closelyknit team to develop a target selling strategy for each of the identifiedcountries and solutions. The role involves extensive travel globally and expectto be out of the country for up to 100 days a year. Dimensions of Role
Deliver the order intaketargets to meet financial year Key Performance indicators. Ensure that theSales processes are implemented in line with PM@Siemens methodology, and withinSiemens process /LOA guidelines, and in a compliant and ethicalmanner. Offer coaching & mentoringsupport. Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders across multiculturalboundaries. Within the position there will be called upon from time to time totravel internationally to support our in-territory Siemens colleagues and EndUser Customers
External Contacts: End usercustomers, sub-suppliers, third party companies working of behalf of thecustomer. Internal customers includes: Regional Siemens Entities, Engineering,Supply Chain, Quality, Logistics, Contract Management, Compliance, FieldService, Customer Support Managers, Business Administration, Manufacturing& production. Abasic understanding of how Control systems work on both the package andassociated ancillaries is essential.
Goodunderstanding of the fundamentals of how controls work within the rotatingmachinery industry and how they interact with other balance ofplant (BoP) DCS, SCADA etc.
Tenderingexperience and how to articulate the benefits of the M&Usolutions. Identify the critical key selling strategies through dialogueand research leading to meaningful value propositions.
Excellentcommunication skills - both verbally and written across all stakeholder fromengineers to senior /c level stakeholder
ProvenSales experience in a solutions based environment and theability to close a sale.
Willingnessto travel worldwide
