Location: London / Sheffield / Hybrid Homeworking

Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)

Salary: Up to £42,500 per annum depending on experience and location

The Enterprise Risk Team have an excellent opening for an individual with knowledge of risk management processes and methodologies, and experience of end-to-end project lifecycle to lead the delivery of key products as part of a risk transformation project.

The programme is part of a wider business critical project which aims to identify gaps in the risk management capability and capacity across the bank. As Risk Project Manager, you will co-ordinate input from a broad range of subject matter experts to produce a series of deliverables. You will play a crucial role in developing capability, capacity and operating model solutions and embedding. You will have a real opportunity to make an impact and support the future of the banks risk management capability, shaping the way the bank manages risk.

You will be responsible for project management and delivering key products to ensure the bank is operating a robust risk management framework for its current and future size, scale and complexity. This will require facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders to develop frameworks, policy, and procedures for all principal risks and across all business units and develop and lead the plan for implementation and embedding.

You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and with Human Resources to develop a strategy to close the identified gaps in skills and capacity in risk management capability. You will review and develop the operating model for the management of risk and developing appropriate solutions, provide support to the Senior Project Manager to deliver the Risk Transformation Project workstream activity on behalf of the Senior Responsible Officer, and analyse the range risk management related factors (reviews/audits etc) that have impacted Risk & Compliance and ensure they are fully understood and, where appropriate, included in workstream scope.

You will coordinate input and consolidation of outputs from a range of subject-matter experts to develop the Risk Management Framework across all principle risk categories. You will produce a series of deliverables to an agreed timeline, provide inputs required to ensure that the workstreams are in line with the Project Delivery Lifecycle, deliver a series of products in line with a detailed project plan and provide status reports to the Senior Project Management.

Essentially, you will have a thorough understanding of the three lines of defence risk model and Enterprise Risk Management Framework, methodologies and processes, knowledge or experience of end-to-end project lifecycle, and experience managing stakeholder engagement across multiple organisational boundaries, influencing key stakeholders to support project and or business change activity.

You will have developed and maintained a well-structured plan of the work and the resources to enable the appropriate approvals, baselining, reporting and controls, managed cost planning and estimating, reporting, forecasting and controlling, including taking corrective cost actions and led on the implementation of a formal risk management process, including the continual use of risk management tools and documents.
