The Reward Team at Sky is responsible for the design, development, implementation, communication and on-going management of Sky's reward plans and policies. Our aim is to be the strategic partner for the delivery of reward solutions that drive performance and make Sky a great place to work. Our remit includes pay, bonus and benefits programs across the business. These plans impact all employees across Sky and, the Reward Team ensure that we stay competitive and help the alignment of our people to our business strategy and direction.

You will:

Reporting to the Head of Reward - UK&I, you will develop and deliver a UK reward strategy that positions Sky as a great place to work and supports the Company's future growth and development plans. You will ensure that reward within the company re-enforces the corporate values and delivers employee engagement, and operates through a flexible, dynamic but strategic approach.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Contribute to the design and development of the UK&I reward strategy, ensuring that policy and practice is aligned to the business and people strategies.

- Align to the Corporate & Content functions of the business, acting as a trusted and visible Reward Business Partner working closely with the relevant Business HR colleagues at all levels.

- Support the Banding Project to deliver Sky's first role grading framework covering 25,000 employees and c.8,000 roles. Using Willis Towers Watson Career Mapper methodology, implement both a Banding and Job Family framework to enable better foundations for career navigation, driving a high-performance culture and bringing consistency to reward decisions, ensuring good governance & integrity but still retaining efficiency and flexibility.

- Lead the review and development of a new performance based annual bonus programme linked to the new Banding framework, understanding the IT system implications in a pre & post system upgrade world. Work in a highly collaborative style with colleagues in Reward and with key stakeholders in business HR, HR Operations, Recruitment and in the organisation.

- Develop strong, supportive and influential relationships with all key internal stakeholders ensuring that effective thought leadership and a quality reward output is delivered to the organisation.

- Through internal and external networking look to continually improve reward practices, building on best practice and maintaining Reward as a centre of expertise. Act as a champion of brand values and people principles, ensuring they are reflected in everything we do.

You'll have:

- Graduate degree level or relevant work experience.

- A professional background as a Reward specialist, preferably already at management level or seasoned senior analyst level.

- Previous track record of delivering reward strategies in a complex and multi-site environment incorporating a broad range of reward issues

- Equal ability to lead and deliver high status and complex projects - from conception, to analysis, through effective collaboration and communications, to full implementation and review.

- Confidence to challenge the status quo in a professional, cooperative and influential way

- Experience of building successful relationships and influencing at a senior management and board level

- Experience of managing external suppliers\/consultants

- Experience of Willis Towers Watson job grading\/evaluation methodology and job families

- Ability to distill complex information into simple and engaging communications

- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills combined with the ability to interpret and present data in a manner which is clear and easy to understand.

- Resilience, flexibility and ability to be effective in a fast paced and challenging environment which is going through significant organisational and cultural change

- A strong team player, working openly and collaboratively across a bi-located team
