The Resourcing team member manages the completion of their own workload in line with hire dates. At times of high volume campaigns this involves working with a large number of vacancies. The ability to plan and organise your own workload is essential.
This role requires the successful candidate to be able to plan and prioritise their workload. The individual will be able to demonstrate an ability to organise their work in a way which will ensure delivery of key measures.
The recruitment team member will support hiring managers in the business to source successful candidates. This will involve management of their own vacancies. Offering advice and guidance where appropriate to help take a vacancy to completion. During these processes the recruitment team member will be pro active in "pushing" the processes. Offering support for arranging interviews etc. to keep the process moving.
The recruitment team member will occasionally be involved in the application screening for a variety of vacancies throughout the business. Each vacancy requires a particular set of skills and the recruitment team member must work with the individual hiring manager to identify the key criteria for this role.
There may be occasions where the recruitment team member will have to arrange interviews for Hiring Managers. The recruitment team member will arrange all interviews for bulk campaigns which they are managing.
When the successful candidate is sourced the recruitment team member will complete the offer process for the successful candidate which includes verifying right to work information for new hires to the business, making payroll changes and working closely with the referencing team to ensure simultaneous process run correctly. The offer process will also require the candidate to issue formal offers of employment therefore attention to detail is key.
Maintaining accurate data on your own workload for reporting purposes. This has to be completed frequently to ensure correct work allocation.
Attention to Detail
Attention to detail is a key attribute of this role.
The recruitment team member will be able to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers to make the process as slick as possible. This involves regular telephone and e mail communications with customers of all levels.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience of recruitment processes in an aviation industry would be advantageous due to complexity of role. Full training would be provided to the successful candidate.
This role requires a high level on interaction with candidates, hiring managers and outside organisations.
There will be a need to adapt communication accordingly to ensure that areas of concern are clearly conveyed while being easy to understand.
The Recruitment team member will need to be confident during telephone interactions.
Frequent phone use is required in this role.
Attention to detail
This is an essential skill for this role.
The recruitment team member will deal with high volumes of information but also complete payroll transactions for successful candidates.
Recording Accurate Data
The recruitment team member must record their work on a centralised spread sheet.
Accurate recording of information is key to the success of the team. This allows for accurate reporting and the ability to have an accurate view of the current work within the team.
Ability to work on own initiative
The recruitment team member will be allocated their own workload, making appropriate decisions to take the candidate record through to completion.
Ability to work in a collaborative manner
This role will require the team member to work collaboratively with their colleagues to ensure the overall delivery of the team's result.
Working in the recruitment team also requires the team member to work closely with the candidates, hiring managers and third party organisations to deliver results.
Building relationships with these customers is an essential part of this role.
