Job description

The Team

The London recruitment team at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP is a key part of the wider HR and learning and development team which consists of over 50 professionals. The team covers three key areas; Partner recruitment, graduate recruitment and lateral recruitment (including associate level hires as well as all business services hires).

We are currently recruiting a Recruitment Advisor to work in the lateral recruitment team. The team currently consists of a manager and four advisors.

The Role

The Lateral recruitment team continues to grow in size and scope, this is an excellent opportunity to work very closely with key stakeholders in the practice in recruiting for a number of fee earning and business services areas. One of the key components of this role is to focus on our direct hiring capability so an interest and experience in this area is key.

The key responsibilities of the role are:
  • Responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment of fee-earning and business services hires on a permanent, contract and potentially temporary basis, including identifying, attracting, recruiting and hiring the desired talent for the role

Skills and Experience Required
  • Previous experience from either an agency environment or a similar in-house role
  • Experience of recruiting legal services professionals on a permanent basis
  • Proven success developing direct sourcing channels, particularly with LinkedIn, and creative recruiting strategies including referrals
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to engage and gain credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Experience of using a document management system or applicant tracking system
  • Ability to manage own work load and prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • A positive and proactive attitude (essential)
  • Resilience with the confidence to deliver difficult messages
  • An excellent team player
  • Strong MS office skills are essential in particular reference to Word and Outlook
