How can you change it up?
Joining our Architecture and Engineering team as a Project Manager, you will be focused on the rollout of CityFibres' national optical network and supporting backbone migrations. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Working with the lead architect management of 3rd party Vendors through Proof of Concept and 1st network deployments
  • Ensuring that a robust implementation plan is in place led by the Planning & Implementation team
  • Completing the introduction of a new operational platform into full service, including supporting the Optical team on introducing an operating model that will evolve alongside the CityFibre growth.
  • Applying a holistic approach to success, meaning that completion is delivered when in full service and legacy platforms are removed.

What will you bring to the role?
You'll be an experienced project manager who has a track record in the delivery of large and complex DWDM projects in a customer environment, as well as a practical understanding of the product and network lifecycle at all stages. You will need to be able to lead and manage matric teams effectively and efficiently. It's also important to have;
  • Experience of successful end-to-end program and project management delivery incorporating client/business, contractors, procurement and network design
  • Solid experience of planning and controlling complex, multi-work stream projects effectively from end-to-end
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
