Project Managers will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with both business and IT strategy, commitments and goals
The main purpose of the role is to manage the effective delivery of such initiatives or technical solutions that may be required in order to assist with the achievement of business strategic objectives. Projects may be technology, process or people focused.
Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
Develop programme and project plans and resource schedules to effectively deliver business goals and objectives and gain agreement to them
Develop and own project communications strategies, ensuring key message delivery for the relevant business teams and IT department
Provide facilitation support for the resolution of business problems, assisting in the identification and implementation of solutions and change in a controlled manner
Manage project governance to ensure timely business decisions are made and appropriate change requests are raised with costs approved in advance of expenditure
Identify and monitor project risks and issues, managing inter-dependencies between workstreams and projects, implementing solutions and providing recommendations
Develop and own project communications strategies, ensuring key message delivery for the relevant key stakeholders and Transformation team
Deliver appropriate reports and presentations to project boards, key stakeholders, Programme and Transformational Management and all governance forums to support the delivery of business change projects
You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience:
Corporate insurance industry (Lloyd's market would be advantageous).
Experience of working on a Claims transformation
Experience of delivery of business and technical projects
