About the Role

Base Location: Scotland (Any)

Salary: £ Depending on role + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

Due to our continued growth within SSEN Transmission Offshore Delivery, we have numerous opportunities for passionate Project Management professionals to help deliver our ambitious plans over the next 5 years and beyond, as we directly facilitate Scotland's ambitions to meet Net-Zero.

We have opportunities throughout Scotland for:

- Lead Project Managers

- Project Managers

- Assistant Project Managers

What do I need?

The requirements for these roles are as follows:

LPM

- A natural or developed leader with a broad understanding of project management methodology and practice.

- Experience in the Transmission industry, or construction, or the utilities sector on major projects.

- Experience in developing, managing and reporting on significant project budgets (£100m and above).

- Knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other key relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.

- Experience of either NEC3 or FIDIC Contracts, with a focus on the Engineering and Construction and Professional Services Contracts.

- Experience in project lifecycle including development, design and delivery phases, with an ability to develop the works information, employer requirements.

- An ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams to deliver multiple project outputs and have a proven track record in successful delivery.

PM

- A natural or developed leader with a broad understanding of project management methodology and practice.

- Experience in the Transmission industry, or construction, or the utilities sector on major projects.

- Experience of Civil infrastructure - design, pre-construction activities and on-site construction activities.

- Experience of Convertor infrastructure - design, pre-construction activities and on-site construction activities.

- Experience of High Voltage connections would be advantageous.

- A strong engineering or construction knowledge including the safety and CDM 2015 regulations.

- Experience of the reporting and management requirements that come with such a role and have a proven track record in successful delivery.

- An understanding of developing and managing integrated project programmes.

APM

- A natural or developing leader with an understanding of project management methodology and practice.

- Engineering or related subject, experience / appropriate qualification is desirable.

- Experience in the Transmission industry, or construction, or the utilities sector on major projects.

- Experience of High Voltage connections would be advantageous.
