Job description

The Role

To work within the Technology and Administration Solutions (TAS) Client Project Delivery (CPD) Team, on allocated chargeable Client projects within the pensions area. These may include; data cleanse tasks, risk reduction exercises, bulk member mailing exercises and responses collation, GMP related projects, testing improvements to member portals,

To promote best practices and new ideas within the Client Project Delivery on a written and verbal basis. Address client needs with a business focus that helps maintain profitability and quality throughout the projects and to self-motivate to meet hard deadlines on multiple client projects within a fast moving environment. This can include;
  • Review data cleanse reports and output produced by the Data Analysts for client specific items and to check relevance of data exceptions and cleanse tasks being recommended.
  • Manual review of member files (hard copy and electronic) to capture, collate and update missing data items.
  • Completion of benefit calculations to create or correct failed data items.
  • Creating mail merge communications
  • Manging member responses to bulk mailings
  • Supporting the senior members of the team with the identification, analysis, and monitoring of chargeable projects.

The Requirements
  • Grade 9-4/Grade C or above for Maths and English Language at GCSE or equivalent.
  • Able to work to a high level of accuracy.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet targets.
  • Interpersonal skills to include high quality and accurate written and verbal communications.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Practical experience of working with large volumes of data is preferred
  • Understanding of manual benefit calculations and processes is advantageous
  • Experience of working on several projects simultaneously is advantageous
  • Experience in either DB or DC pensions administration is advantageous
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise own workload.
