Job description

Please note, this role can be based in either the London or Luxembourg offices.

Amazon Global Speciality Fulfilment is looking for Program Managers with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs. The role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. You will join the Continuous Improvement team, driving initiatives across GSF Europe.
Responsibilities/ Activities:
• Data mining and analysis for EU GSF Ops and central teams.
• Subject matter expert on larger processes and activities within the Fulfilment Centre, ensuring in line with standard work that best practice is shared with other distribution centers within the network.
• Leading cross-functional projects tasked with solving operational problems.
• Partner with central teams to drive business improvements across the network utilising methods such as Kaizen and 5S.
• Drive Continuous Improvement projects across the EU region.
• Audit and benchmark FCs to ensure best practice is being followed and shared across the network.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong data mining, data analysis and problem solving skills with understanding of SQL and strong excel skills.
• Bachelor's Degree (Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, etc.) or 2+ years' Amazon experience
• 5+ years of progressive responsibility in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation or related field with proven ability to influence without authority as an individual contributor
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional program

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience or use of Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations
• Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematic and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
• Ability to travel up to 25%
