The Role
To work as a part of cross-functional, self-organising team enhancing and supporting critical services while delivering maximum business value, in alignment with strategic priorities.
What Will You Do?
2019: Integration Manager Lloyd's Brussels Ecosystems
  • Responsible for Lloyd's Brussels business critical systems and platforms
  • Responsible for Service Management process across: Incident Management, Change
    Management, Release Management and Service Requests
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the development, modification, and system
    integration of complex systems and subsystems used for daily production processing, reporting and financial accounting
  • Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving and further leveraging these systems
  • Identify and navigate potential issues to meet deadlines and schedules
  • Lead initiatives in developing new integration capabilities and enhancements to existing Lloyd's Brussels platforms
  • Drive change and initiatives around development best practices, software release automation, and driving a DevOps mindset with software providers
  • Coordinate and meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems
  • Build deep and trusted relationships with key business partners within Lloyd's Brussels structure and Lloyd's Corporation Global Operations
Future: Integration Manager & Team Lead
  • Provide day-to-day line management to members of the Product team, including regular 1.2.1 catch-ups, personal objective setting, half-year performance reviews and individual personal development plans (PDP)
  • To provide leadership on development work and have supervisory responsibilities in delegating work to ensure that work is delivered on time and within budget
  • Maintain close relationships within the Group Technology department where dependencies for deliveries (e.g. project change, product change, incidents, service requests) exist
  • Pro-actively seek opportunities within the Corporation to improve and enhance the efficiency of the organisation through innovative and improved approaches to software development
  • Responsible for developing team members' technical skills, as well as the way they work, including behaviour, attitude and confidence.
  • Define and embed security considerations and other non-functional requirements in software solutions from scoping through to implementation, underpinned by appropriate testing and QA throughout delivery cycle
  • In conjunction with Procurement, identify, select and manage 3rd party GT suppliers and their products and services through appropriate contracts and relationships to increase flexibility and better support business demands
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with partners across the business

  • Customer-centric' approach to delivering appropriate solutions
  • Application lifecycle management & project delivery, using Agile methodologies/frameworks such as SCRUM, Kanban and SAFe
  • Broad knowledge of technology infrastructure that Lloyd's has implemented to underpin its application development.
  • Experience of a customer service focused, process & data driven environment
  • Expert knowledge of tools, techniques and best practices for the movement and integration of data such as ETL, application messaging, web services/API's, and Integration platforms
  • Working knowledge of Solution Lifecycle Management tools and Continuous Integration methods (e.g. CI/CD pipelines, software release automation)
  • Proven people management experience including coaching and mentoring
  • Proven success building strong stakeholder relationships
  • Strong project management skills, which includes the ability to define and delegate roles and tasks
  • Working as part of a collaborative, self-organising team
