Job description

Role purpose

Procurement business partner responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with all management levels, advising and providing new perspectives to drive change across the business to build and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
  • Managing the company's Corporate Services supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending, optimizing budget forecasting and drive value through the supply chain with categories such as marketing, HR, professional services.
  • Leading end to end procurement projects that support the business to achieve collaborative goals


Key accountabilities
  • Establishes and maintains regular and productive relationships with business stakeholders to achieve agreed business goals and introduce positive change to support category development.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on specialist procurement issues and supports Colts sustainability programme.
  • Develop and implement category strategy to control costs, promote competition and safeguard supply capacity, including suppliers consolidation opportunities, consistently with Group objectives and targets.
  • Led engagements and collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure saving plans, budget assumptions, terms and processes are consistently reviewed and aligned and internal stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Deliver RFP to completion driving commercial economies of scale, total cost of ownership to support your category plans.


Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Procurement Sourcing management
  • Has delivered large, complex Marketing / Strategic sourcing RFP globally
  • Strong engagement skills that can support and navigate individuals through change
  • Dynamic and agile approach to problem solving that helps drive greater insight and understanding.
  • Broad understanding of categories that support sound business judgement
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • High level of understanding on procurement tools (e.g. Ariba, SAP, Fieldglass ...)
