Our Land Services team based across the UK are seeking Principal Land Consultants to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the largest Land Referencing business in the UK to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to the success of high profile infrastructure projects across the UK.

In this varied role as a Principal Land Consultant, your goal will be the delivery of detailed, high quality land ownership information to our clients. You will manage the technical delivery of land referencing projects ensuring the validity, accuracy and auditability of information collected. Our clients develop major highway, rail, energy and water infrastructure for which they need Government approval. You will manage a team of Land Consultants liaising with land owners that may be affected by the development and delivering the necessary information required to notify, gain access and subsequently compensate them for the impact caused by the scheme.

You will provide support to the project owner by delivering technical elements of projects on time, within budget and to the agreed standards.

This role can be based in London, Guildford, Edinburgh, Birmingham or Manchester. 
  • A degree in Geography or a relevant discipline, or relevant experience
  • Experience leading technical delivery teams in a similar discipline of land referencing or land assembly
  • Evidence of leading teams to deliver complex work
  • Experience working with UK statutory consents processes
  • Willingness to undertake occasional secondments, working directly with our clients
  • Enthusiasm for continuous professional development, and professional accreditation
