Payments Manager

Here at Intrinsic we are recruiting for a Payments Manager to lead our payments team to deliver a high quality service to all customers. You'll also manage the performance of the team and support change implementation within the department in line with strategic and operational objectives.

About the role
You'll be a strong leader tasked with directing and supporting the payments team. This includes monitoring and managing risks, analysing MI and budget control so you'll need to be a capable and analytical manager with experience in managing both people and operations.

As Payments Manager you will work with the Adviser Operations leadership team to plan and deliver change initiatives. You'll also support with all operational activities so you'll need strong communication and stakeholder management skills to ensure we deliver our objectives to plan.
About you
You'll be a strong leader with exceptional communication skills. You'll have a flexible and adaptable approach and the ability to work under pressure. You'll understand the importance of team work and will be able to lead from the front and to support both your team and the department.

You'll have excellent organisational and planning skills with strong delivery skills and focus, as well as attention to detail and an analytical approach.

Your background will include customer service, risk and control management and operational management, ideally within financial services. Experience of implementing and managing a team through change is also desirable.
