The Partner Accountant plays a key role within the Partner Affairs and Tax Team based in London. The team is responsible for providing support to the partnership in respect of partner remuneration, UK and international entity level and individual taxation, and maintenance of partner capital accounts. The partner accountant will have responsibility for the maintenance of partner current accounts and payment of profits to Partners of Norton Rose Fulbright LLP in London and overseas offices. This position reports to the Partner Accounting Manager.
Preparation of forecasts, calculations and payments of monthly drawings and quarterly distributions to partners globally
Management of the Partner Master schedule incorporating joiners, leavers and transfers which then forms the foundation of the firm's annual profit sharing calculations
Preparation of monthly and quarterly BACs, and international payment instructions - liaising with cashiers and overseas Finance teams to ensure smooth payment runs
Providing assistance to overseas Finance teams in respect of partner current accounts queries
Providing assistance to partners who require confirmation of their annual profits to assist with bank lending, and who may have queries regarding their current accounts and payments
