To aid and assist th e Risk Director, Operations and Business Continuity Manager to deliver activities identified in the Operational Resilience Framework implementation plan.
Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
Lead activities with business areas to map the dependencies of critical services and then agree the resilience of these dependencies with senior management.
Develop and agree with senior management operational resilience scenarios for the critical services.
Drive the setting and agreement of resilience tolerances and appetite for the critical services and obtain approval from Board committees.
Develop, implement and embed with senior management reporting dashboards for critical services.
Develop holistic reporting of the Operational Resilience Framework
Liaise with second and third line of defence for assurance on the Operational Resilience Framework
Develop and implement BAU model for Operational Resilience Framework
Challenge to ensure frameworks are appropriate for the level of risk and represent good value.
Ensure that frameworks are properly communicated to all relevant parties so that roles and responsibilities are clear.
Work with business representatives to help implement operational resilience requirements and ensure that all risks are properly identified and planned for.
Develop, maintain and deliver training and awareness activities to increase understanding of operational resilience.
Keep up to date with changes to internal systems, procedures and personnel
Monitoring, compliance and reporting
Ensure identification, tracking and monitoring compliance with requirements.
Develop, maintain and review effective key data, MI and performance indicators
Analyse management information and produce standard and ad-hoc reports
You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience:
Strong knowledge of general insurance and London market initiatives, infrastructures, processes and business practices.
Strong understanding of quality verification, validation controls, operational risk and the significance of audit interrogation.
Proven good experience in a business facing role.
Proven strong experience of handling data and creating high quality reliable reports, summaries, graphs or dashboards at various levels.
Experience of working in a flexible working environment.
Experience of working in a regulated environment and dealing with internal and external audits.
