You will work with the colleagues within the Portfolio Operations team in managing the Operational Compliance issues in support of wider due diligence Product Teams. You will be responsible for supporting the management of all anti money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) searches against new and existing delivery partners in line with British Business Bank AML Procedures and Policy. To implement and manage a system of monitoring and control of data relating to KYC/AML compliance for Delivery Partners in line with Policy & GDPR requirements. You will undertake random sampling to ensure quality and compliance of work within the team, providing training, coaching and mentoring to junior members of the team.
You will effectively provide business partner support to the business units across the Bank, working closely together with the wider Product Teams to deliver operational compliance requirements. In addition, you will be expected to build stakeholder relationships across the non-operational elements of the business in support of these requirements. You may also be required to provide cover for the Senior Manager during periods of absence.
Essentially, you will have a significant working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word, knowledge of data analysis, experience of working flexibly in a team environment to deliver required results, experience in effective verbal communication (especially in meetings) and in producing concise and comprehensive written reports, and be able to evidence significant organisational ability.
Management experience, experience in a financial services environment, maintenance of wider stakeholder relationships and experience of KYC/AML procedures and checks will be beneficial but not essential.
