Working as part of our active engineering department, you'll be responsible for the development and delivery and security of our active service portfolio, encompassing skills that include system and network administration, log analysis and general project management.
Some of the key areas you'll be focusing on will include:
What will you bring to the role?
- Supporting the implementation and operation of the Active Network Security tooling strategy, including operational and commercial models required to implement a solution
- Establishing a networking environment by designing system configuration, direction system installation and defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
- Maximising network performance by creating and implementing framework for monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems / outages, scheduling upgrades and network optimisation
- Defining and implementing the operational framework for the management of security tooling
- Supporting the Network Operations group by undertaking forensic / CERT investigations in a final line of Tier 3/4

It's important that you have a strong understanding of security principles in a multi-vendor and zero trust environment, as well as of stateful firewalls, IDS/IDP and other security technologies.
You'll also be a natural problem solver with well-developed troubleshooting skills and methodologies, have experience of alternate operating and process methodologies and a good understanding of layer 2 technologies, with an emphasis on ethernet.Our unique culture
