The Role
We are currently recruiting a multi skilled Craft assistant preferable with experience of fitting and repairing flooring. You will work as part of a team of seven Craft assistants based on the Parliamentary estate in Westminster. Your role will be helping to maintain our grade one listed buildings and UNESCO world heritage site as well as all the other buildings that make up the parliamentary estate. We have well equipped workshops to support you in your work.
The role is varied where you will be involved in delivering and installing fridges, fixing white boards to walls, carrying out PAT testing of electrical items, carryout maintenance of plumbing infrastructure from removing blockages and isolating supplies, carrying out re lamping of light fittings, completing small painting tasks and erecting light weight mobile tower scaffolds. You will also work alongside our trades persons assisting them in their daily actives.
