This is a fantastic opportunity to join the award-winning Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team at EY, helping the business to win in the marketplace through creating deep client relationships, exploring major opportunities for revenue growth and consistent reputation building.

The opportunity

Working as a valued member of the BMC team, you will be an experienced and highly motivated individual with a strong background in professional services, keen to lead key campaigns and help build engagement with key influencers/decision. As someone who can effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders across the business at all levels, you will be a creative and passionate marketer who can help us build stronger connections with our clients and a distinctive presence in the market.

Your key responsibilities

You'll work with the Tax business, developing campaigns that support revenue objectives and enhance the reputation of the firm. Using research and insight you will create strategies with focused objectives, budgets, targeting and metrics, developing and maintaining competitive and compelling value propositions. With illustration of channel expertise and risk awareness, you will work closely with external agencies, in house studios, the wider BMC team and regional teams to influence and negotiate with stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions to achieve business success.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Evidence of building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders and key stakeholder groups
  • Experience of developing plans that support revenue objectives and enhances the reputation of the firm
  • A background in campaign management, producing quality, consistent messages, through all channels
  • Full understanding of the importance of effective use of CRM tools
  • A solid understanding of campaign principles, coupled with a strong commercial drive and the ability to deliver high-value activities that deliver return on investment

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Extensive business experience; or a degree (or equivalent), professional qualification, and time spent in the workplace
  • Excellent networking and influencing skills
  • Good quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Time and project management skills - highly organised with a sound attention to detail and an ability to deliver to deadlines
  • Strong IT skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ideally, you'll also have

  • An enthusiastic, can do approach and be a strong team player
  • The ability to juggle conflicting demands on time and prioritise effectively
  • A desire to embrace and drive change whilst identifying and supporting process improvements and demonstrating best practice
  • Ability to learn new processes and skills quickly
  • Experience of working in large/matrix organisations, balancing multiple stakeholder requirements
  • A professional services background, however strong candidates from other sectors will also be considered.
