The opportunity EY's Corporate Secretarial (CoSec) team is growing and we are looking for a manager to join our UK team. This is a great opportunity to become part of a global professional services firm to work with a variety of clients on exciting projects, be market facing and develop managerial skills.
We support our clients to achieve their governance, compliance and business objectives, your role will involve managing relationships with those clients as well as managing a team to deliver exceptional client service. You will have strong technical skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences.
The role is focused on delivering corporate governance advisory projects for our clients, who include FTSE 100/250 and AiM organisations as well as fast growing and larger private companies.
Your key responsibilities
Management & delivery of governance advisory projects, including:
Secretariat operational effectiveness reviews
Corporate governance frameworks
Board effectiveness reviews
Subsidiary governance advisory
Monitoring changes in the legislative and regulatory environment and identifying new opportunities in the UK market
External business development and internal networking to create opportunities
Supervision and development of team members

To qualify for the role you must
Be ICSA qualified
Have experience of managing &.or developing staff
Experience of UK corporate governance code within a listed environment
Ideally, you'll also have
Experience working in a professional services firm
