About the role An opportunity has arisen for a qualified solicitor to take control of the work streams as allocated by the Head of Legal, you'll be expected to manage these work streams autonomously. The Legal Counsel will be responsible for documenting Quilter Cheviot's relationships with counter parties, clients and intermediaries (e.g. standard and bespoke client terms and conditions and intermediary terms of business; custody and brokerage documentation; platform documentation, office, product and service launches).
The Legal Counsel will also provide advice regarding regulatory (FCA) and governance matters, the actions of regulatory bodies, and specific projects, as well as disputes and legal proceedings; and review the responses to certain categories of complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction (FOS and Irish and Jersey equivalents).
