In response to recent success in research, teaching and innovation, the School of Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Engineering Mathematics (SCEEM) is undertaking a 5-year growth plan in the area of Robotics and Autonomous Systems. We are seeking to appoint three Lecturers/Senior Lecturers (Assistant/Associate Professors) to support educational expansion at the Masters level and to enhance our international research reputation. The appointment will be made either in the Departments of Engineering Mathematics or Computer Science, depending on fit. You will also benefit from the Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL) joint facility with the University of West of England that hosts an EPSRC doctoral training centre and a large joint MSc. At least one post will be in the area of soft robotics, but we also seek appointments in any area that complements existing broad research strengths in robotics and autonomous systems.
All three positions are being offered on a full-time, open-ended contract but applications seeking a fractional or part time appointment are also encouraged to apply. We especially encourage applicants who are female or from other under-represented groups.
